Samba is a full-featured server system which aims at replicating
Windows NT/2000 server capabilities on Unix/Posix systems.
Samba is BIG.
Samba has been ported to a variety of "non-traditional"
platforms, including palmtops. What about:
- SoHo network utility devices?
- Cellular telephones?
- Home appliances?
Is Samba (or CIFS, for that matter) the
right tool for these environments?
