On Halloween night, one of Cucumber's friends was a ghost. And Cucumber went YIKES! Then danger was coming - they heard a real witch coming into their house. They all hid! The witch was making his own food and then it ran away and went out of the house and didn't come back again.

But the next Halloween night, there was an even scarier witch. Then all of Cucumber's friends, his sister, and Cucumber too, hid straight in the study and locked the door. They slammed it with a BOOM! And the witch didn't know where they were so the witch just left.

Then one night, Cucumber was sleeping. Something was happening. Boom Crash Flash! Ka-Pak! shhhwckkd! And then when Cucumber woke up he saw that one of his friend's house was burning. So he told his mom and dad what he was going to do and he ran and called to the firemen. And then the firemen sprayed their hoses at the burning windows. Some flames were about 298 kilometers up to the ceiling. And the teeny flames had only a teeny weeny bit of warm left. And then as one fire-fighter went into the study, he sprayed and sprayed the computer that was burning. Spray, Spray. And then it was getting too dangerous, and two firefighters chopped down a window and flames were going right past it. Until the flames got out of the chopped window and damaged it. Then lots of flames damaged the study. After the fire, it was very damaged.

Fire Truck

The firefighters are fighting the fire. They are trying to put it out. The hose needs to put out the fire. It goes "Ssssss". That's why the smoke comes out.

There is a cat in the tree. Cats can't come down from trees, they fall down. The firefighters will help the cat when the fire is out. They will use an axe and a saw to put out the fire. They will get the cat out of the tree with the ladder.

Do fire trucks break down when the firefighers are coming out? Do the firefighers fix them? They have broken windows and the wheels come off of them. The fire fighters put them back. They need to fix the fire trucks.
