This is a story about what will happen tomorrow.
Captain Aled and First Mate Jeff climbed on their ship "The Garden of Outer Space." It was called that because it was so green. But only at a distance. If you got close you could see it was many different colors.
They didn't know what was going to happen. But they wanted to go on an
adventure.
Captain Amalia and Rowena and her friend came onto their ship. But a storm came up and it crashed. She was blowing her horn when the ship crashed into an iceberg! Rowena's friend broke her leg. Rowena kissed her and brought her a leg cast from the little shed holding the emergency stuff. Then they saw another ship. So they put on cold water shoes and went over to it.
It was Captain Aled's ship!
They didn't need to ask to come in, but they gave him a dollar.
But then they saw another ship that was going closer to where they wanted to go. So they decided to go on that ship instead. They put stickers on themselves because the man on the ship said they had to put stickers on if they wanted to come in.
And they took off, and sailed over a white country with lots of ice.
Captain Aled's ship took off next. It made a sound like WHOOSH KA-BOOM! as it went up.
They flew for a long time.
"Now we are on the moon" said Captain Aled.
First Mate Jeff was there too. So were Cucumber and one of his friends. This was before the accident.
"We are on the moon because it is part of outer space and we want to study it" said Captain Aled.
They looked around. But then they looked up into the sky where they hadn't been looking before.
KAKLUNK! KABANG! KLRASH! BAM!
"Oh no! An asteroid has hit the moon!" cried Captain Aled. "It made a big crater. It looks a billion feet long."
"Wow!" said First Mate Jeff.
The ship blasted off towards earth from the moon. On their way they suddenly saw a bad guy ship.
"We're in trouble!" said Captain Aled. "There's a bad guy ship coming at one billion billion billion miles per hour!"
It fired a laser at them.
Captain Aled's ship started burning.
"Uh oh." said Captain Aled. "Our ship is starting to burn! We're going to crash into the earth!"
Captain Aled didn't like it that the bad guy had hit them. He fired the lasers of his ship back at them. The first shot missed. But the next shot hit.
The bad guy ship went KA-KLUNK, right into the moon!
The spaceship was burning. And it was coming back to earth at one hundred million billion miles per hour.
Captain Aled was surprised to hear a sound like:
CRASH BASH BAM BOOM CAAALUNK CABOOM BABOOM BOOM CA CA CA BOOOOOOM!
"Blue bad blistering barnacles! I don't like that sound!" said Captain Aled. It had been a rough day.
"It was an asteroid. We hit it." said First Mate Jeff. "Now there is even more fire on the ship!"
Then they looked towards earth. There was a kablooie there too!
"Everyone to your shelters!" cried Captain Aled. "Asteroids are hitting earth!"
Captain Aled flew his ship by the asteroids and caught them all on
fire. So they all burned up before hitting earth.
But Captain Aled's ship had used up all its fuel. It had to crash into the earth!
Fortunately, they landed in Alaska. It was so cold that there was ice on the water. They cracked the ice and the water whooshed up and put out the fires on the ship.
Captain Aled broke his leg, so he had to be taken to the hospital in a nearby big city in Alaska.
But he got better soon. And everyone was ready to go on another adventure!
